Compatible with:

Note: Pipe threads must be sealed using an approved thread sealant.

Assembly Instructions:

  • Straight Fitting:
    • Hand-tighten the external thread into the internal thread.
    • Tighten an additional 2 turns with a wrench for up to ½” male pipe thread.
    • For sizes above ½”, tighten 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 turns with a wrench.
  • Elbow and Tee Fitting:
    • Hand-tighten the external thread into the internal thread.
    • Tighten an additional 1 to 1-1/2 turns with a wrench.
    • Tighten the fitting clockwise to align with the tubing (never counterclockwise).

Note: To minimise the possibility of a leaking threaded joint after assembling male to female pipe threads, neither end should be backed out (loosened) once the assembly has been made.

  • Free-cutting IS-319/CZ-121
  • CA360 Brass for bar stock fittings
  • CA377 Brass for forged fittings
  • Lead-free, bronze, and other special copper alloys as per customer specifications.

Threads:

  • BSPT, BSP, NPT any special thread as per customer specification.

Pressure:

  • Operating pressure up to 1200 PSI

Temperature Range:

  • -65° F to + 250°F (-53°C to 121°C)
